Hyland Track Timer

Helmet-Mounted Track Timer

The Hyland USB Rechargeable Track Timer & Light is a lightweight, helmet-mounted track timer with an audible 1-second beeper and flashing light, designed for jockeys and track riders.

Designed to give riders a simple, reliable way to judge time while working horses on the track, without looking away from the horse or riding line.

Weighing just 45 g, with a rubber shock-absorbing casing and USB charging – no disposable batteries required.

Operating Modes

Press the button to cycle through the modes:

• 1st press: beeper only
• 2nd press: light and beeper together
• 3rd press: light only
• 4th press: off

The beeper sounds every second at approximately 90–100 decibels, and the LED flashes every second in a choice of red, white or blue (the casing is blue on all models).

USB Rechargeable & Weather Resistant

According to the manufacturer, a full charge provides up to approximately one week or more of use, depending on usage. The waterproof casing and control board are designed for riding in heavy rain, but the unit should not be immersed in water.

Helmet Mounting

An elastic attachment band secures the timer to the helmet, and the rear of the unit can also attach to the helmet harness strap. Position the ON/OFF button facing upwards and the charging connection and speaker facing downwards, ensure it is secure before riding, and check it does not interfere with the helmet's normal fit or function.
