Kelato BetaMare

Kelato BetaMare

Chasteberry Supplement for Mares

Kelato BetaMARE is a concentrated, standardised Chasteberry (Vitex agnus-castus) supplement to support balanced behaviour, relaxation and focus in mares.

Designed for mares showing behavioural changes associated with their normal reproductive cycle – becoming irritable, reactive, tense, distracted or difficult to work with – that affect training, handling and competition.

Support for the "Mare-ish" Mare

Cyclical changes affect mares differently. Common behavioural changes include:

  • Irritability or mood changes
  • Increased sensitivity and reactivity
  • Muscular tension
  • Distracted or unfocused behaviour
  • Resistance during training
  • Changes in cooperation or willingness to work

How BetaMARE Works

Chasteberry has a long history of traditional use for supporting hormonal and behavioural balance, and is commonly incorporated into feeding programs to support normal behaviour, relaxation and cooperation in mares.

Why Standardised Chasteberry Matters

The active components of raw herbs vary with stage of plant growth, season, climate, soil composition and pH, water availability, and harvesting and processing. Kelato uses a concentrated, standardised Chasteberry extract for greater batch-to-batch consistency and a more reliable, controlled daily intake.

Ideal For

  • Mares with cyclical behavioural changes
  • Mares that become reactive or distracted at certain stages of their cycle
  • Performance and competition mares

Directions

Feed according to the dose rates on the product label, or consult your veterinarian.

Complete Behavioural Support

Kelato BetaMARE helps promote a more settled, focused and cooperative attitude in mares during training, handling and everyday life.

Behavioural changes in mares are not always caused by the reproductive cycle – persistent irritability, aggression, sensitivity, performance changes or discomfort can be associated with pain, gastric problems, ovarian abnormalities or other conditions and should be investigated by a veterinarian. For competition horses, check current prohibited-substance and withdrawal requirements with your governing body. Always read the label before use.
