Calcium, Biotin & Vitamin Hoof and Bone Supplement
Virbac Cal-Plus with Biotin is an aid in the prevention and treatment of deficiencies of biotin, calcium, vitamin A and vitamin D in the diets of racing, working, pleasure and stud horses.
Designed to aid the development of strong, resilient hooves and skeletal structure in all horses on deficient diets.
Supplied in 1.2 kg and 5 kg sizes.
Calcium for Horses on Sub-Tropical Pasture
Sub-tropical grasses such as Pangola, Kikuyu, Buffalo, Green Panic, Para and Setaria contain high oxalate levels, which bind calcium and make it unavailable to horses. Cal-Plus with Biotin can provide much-needed calcium for horses grazing these grasses.
Hoof Quality
The combination of calcium and biotin improves hoof quality by correcting loss of structure on the outside layers of the hoof wall, as well as supporting formation of cells in the inner two layers of the hoof wall.
