Cen Complete Electrolyte
Cen Complete Electrolyte
Sugar-Free Concentrated Electrolyte
CEN Complete Electrolyte is a concentrated equine electrolyte supplement, free of sugar, fillers, dextrose and sodium bicarbonate, for balanced replenishment of electrolytes and rapid rehydration.
Designed for performance and pleasure horses losing electrolytes through sweat during strenuous exercise, it can also be used to assist with recovery after sickness, injury or stressful situations such as travel and performance.
Made with food-grade ingredients and promoted by CEN as having the lowest feed rate on the market.
The Importance of Electrolytes
Adequate electrolyte levels are essential for the regulation of the heartbeat, circulatory system, muscle contraction, nerve impulse transmission and digestion. Without electrolytes, horses cannot properly retain and utilise water, leading to dehydration, which causes cell function in the muscles, gut and heart to slow and, in severe cases, shut down.
Improved Absorption
Concentrated chloride levels and chelated minerals assist with improved absorption, helping ensure correct hydration and fluid concentration in and around the cells. This is essential for key electrochemical roles such as muscle contraction, nerve impulses, digestion and heart regulation.
