Feeding Rate

• Maintenance (500 kg horse): 30 g daily, mixed with feed. May be divided into 15 g per meal.
• Horses with gastric ulcers: 60 g daily, or as directed by the manufacturer or your veterinarian.

Gastric ulcers can cause signs including poor appetite, weight loss, girthiness, behavioural changes and reduced performance, but these signs can also have other causes. This supplement should not replace veterinary diagnosis or prescribed ulcer medication; horses with suspected or confirmed Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome (EGUS) should be assessed by a veterinarian, particularly before changing an existing treatment program. Always follow the current manufacturer's feeding directions.
