Pharmachem DMSO (dimethyl sulphoxide) is a 99.9% purity topical liquid, marketed by Pharmachem as a topical pain reliever and often used in the management of tendon and ligament injuries.

About DMSO

Dimethyl sulphoxide is a chemical solvent commonly used in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. It is a clear, colourless liquid that is soluble in water. DMSO is thought to have anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain-relieving) properties, and is believed to work by reducing pain and swelling and increasing blood flow to the affected area.

Directions

Clean the affected area thoroughly, then apply topically with a cotton ball or swab. Allow to dry completely before covering with a bandage. Application two to three times per day is recommended. Test on a small area of skin before using on a larger area.

DMSO can cause skin irritation and allergic reactions; discontinue use immediately if itching, redness or swelling occurs. Do not use on open wounds or broken skin, and avoid contact with eyes.
