Injectable Muscle Support for Horses & Dogs

Enerselen Injection is a high-potency injectable formulation for the management and treatment of muscle disorders in horses and dogs.

Indicated as an aid in the control of muscular dystrophy and as a muscular stimulant, Enerselen supports muscle function, energy metabolism and recovery. It may suit racing, endurance, sport, stud and travelling horses, including those needing extra muscular support during strenuous work.

Supplied in a 100 mL vial for subcutaneous or intramuscular injection.

Active Ingredients

• ATP (adenosine triphosphate) – involved in cellular energy supply and normal muscle function
• Uridine triphosphate – involved in cellular energy processes
• Heptaminol HCl – included to support circulation and exercise capacity
• Selenium – an essential trace element with antioxidant functions supporting muscle health
• Magnesium aspartate – provides magnesium for normal muscle contraction and function
• Potassium aspartate – provides potassium, an electrolyte involved in muscle and energy metabolism
• Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) – supports normal energy metabolism and appetite

Directions

Administer slowly by subcutaneous or intramuscular injection, according to the current registered label and veterinary directions.

• Horses: 4 mL per 100 kg bodyweight
• Dogs: 1 mL per 25 kg bodyweight
• Prevention: one injection each week for 2–3 weeks
• Treatment: one injection every 3 days for 9–12 days

Injections should only be given as directed by a veterinarian or by an experienced person using sterile equipment. Check the label for withholding periods, and for racing or competition horses confirm detection times with your veterinarian. Do not use in animals with known sensitivity to any ingredient.
