Fenbendazole Oral Worm Drench

iO Fenbender 100 Oral Drench is a ready-to-use broad-spectrum Fenbendazole worm drench for cattle and horses.

Containing 100 g/L Fenbendazole, it is formulated for the control of susceptible internal parasites. In horses it controls benzimidazole-sensitive large strongyles, small strongyles, ascarids and pinworms, while in cattle it controls susceptible mature and immature roundworms and lungworm.

May be administered to horses by dosage syringe, drenching gun or nasogastric tube. Nasogastric administration should only be performed by a veterinarian or appropriately trained professional.

Active Constituent

Fenbendazole – 100 g/L. Fenbendazole belongs to the benzimidazole (BZ) class of anthelmintics.

Directions

Standard horse dose: 10 mg/kg Fenbendazole, equivalent to 5 mL per 50 kg bodyweight.

For control of Strongyloides westeri in foals: 50 mg/kg Fenbendazole, equivalent to 5 mL per 10 kg bodyweight.

Accurately determine bodyweight and administer the correct dose according to the registered product label. Underdosing can reduce treatment effectiveness and contribute to the development of anthelmintic resistance. Consult the label for cattle dose rates, complete parasite claims, contraindications and withholding periods. For animal treatment only.
