A versatile, odourless and clear solution that can be used as a lubricant and a drawing agent for use in poultices to remove fluids from inflamed and swollen areas. 

An all-purpose diluent and vehicle used in various veterinary pharmaceutical preparations. Helps prevent drying and retains moisture on the skin.

A topical sweating agent for use in poultices to remove fluids from inflamed and swollen areas.

Often used straight or mixed with peppermint oil and administered orally to soothe and lubricate air passages allowing for easier breathing. In this application, typically 30 cc is administered orally using an oral syringe prior to exercise.

It is often used to dilute other products and is preferred over other agents because it is soothing and moisturizes. Glycerin is water soluble making it extremely easy to remove. It can also be used as a sweat by itself or diluted with alcohol. Glycerin can be used to remove rundown patches, and it can soften dry skin. Glycerin has often been used to soften leather.
