Half Mesh 3 Degree Pad
Half Mesh 3 Degree Pad
3 Degree Half Mesh Hoof Pad
The Jim Blurton 3D HoofCare Half Mesh 3 Degree Pad, distributed by Mustad, is a therapeutic wedge pad that helps realign the hoof-pastern axis while providing frog and caudal hoof support when used with hoof cushion impression material.
Designed for farriers managing heel elevation, hoof-pastern alignment and frog support in horses kept in a controlled environment.
Available in sizes 3, 4, 5 and 6.
3 Degree Elevation
The built-in 3° wedge raises the heels to help realign the hoof-pastern axis, giving the farrier an additional option when elevation is required.
Half Mesh Construction
The half mesh design provides support and protection while leaving part of the sole exposed, creating a structure through which impression material can be applied to support the frog and back of the foot.
Use with Hoof Cushion Material
Designed to be used with dental impression material for frog support, such as:
- ComfortMix Hoof Cushion Supersoft A15
- ComfortMix Hoof Cushion Soft
- ComfortMix Hoof Cushion Medium A35
Suitable Environment
Because part of the sole is left exposed, this pad is intended for horses kept in a controlled pasture or environment without stones. It is not suitable for horses working or turned out on rocky or uncontrolled ground.
