Hidez Compression Hoods With Ears

Equine Compression Hood

The Hidez Compression Hood With Ears provides targeted compression for the horse's head and poll, designed to promote relaxation, comfort and focus during training, competition, travel and stable use.

Designed for performance horses that become tense, distracted or unsettled, it applies gentle, targeted compression around key areas of the head and poll, including acupressure points, the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) area and points associated with relaxation and endorphin response.

It can be worn under a correctly fitted bridle or halter, making it easy to include in your horse's normal routine. Available with a zipper closure on request – please contact us when ordering if you need the zipper option.

Targeted Compression

The close-fitting design provides consistent compression around the head, jaw and poll, areas where horses commonly hold tension. Compression garments provide gentle sensory input and body awareness, which may help some horses feel more secure and relaxed.

Relaxation & Focus

The hood is popular for horses displaying behaviours such as:

• Stall weaving
• Chomping or playing excessively with the bit
• Head shaking or excessive head movement
• Cribbing
• Difficulty maintaining focus
• General tension or anxious behaviour

TMJ & Poll Support

Targeted compression around the TMJ and poll makes the hood a popular supportive option where tension or sensitivity around the head and poll is a concern. It should not replace veterinary, dental or bodywork assessment where pain, restricted movement or ongoing sensitivity is present.

Ideal For

• Training
• Competition
• Travel
