How Does Keratex Hoof Hardener Work?

Unlike conventional hoof oils and coatings that simply sit on the surface, Keratex Hoof Hardener is absorbed into the hoof and works by cross-linking keratins and proteins within the internal structure of the hoof, reinforcing the horn from within.

Because it is absorbed rather than coating the surface, it won't just rub or wash away during turnout, making it practical for horses exposed to changing weather, wet paddocks and demanding conditions.
