Kelato HoofPrime

Penetrating Hoof Dressing

Kelato HoofPRIME is a hoof dressing formulated to penetrate the hoof wall and nourish its inner and outer structures, helping maintain strength and flexibility.

Designed to strengthen, nourish and protect cracked, dry and brittle hooves in all weather conditions, and to provide protection after minor hoof damage and shoeing.

Applied with a brush to the whole hoof.

Spring & Summer

In hot, dry conditions the hoof must cushion the impact of a moving 500 kg horse. Hard surfaces and brittle hooves are a recipe for hoof damage. Hooves that are not maintained can dry out, lose flexibility and become prone to problems such as contracted heels and sand cracks.

Autumn & Winter

Wet, muddy conditions and temperature variations mean hooves may absorb more water and become soft, giving organisms an opportunity to break through the protective hoof wall and cause infection.
