Worma Drench – Broad Spectrum Wormer

Economical broad-spectrum oral drench for the control of major internal parasites in horses and cattle.

Worma Drench contains Oxfendazole 100g/L and provides a convenient liquid worming option for horses, beef cattle and dairy cattle. Its liquid formulation is particularly practical for studs, large herds and multi-animal properties.

Parasite Control – Horses

Worma Drench is indicated for susceptible stages of:

• Bloodworm – Strongylus vulgaris
• Large strongyles / redworms
• Strongylus edentatus, including specified migratory tissue stages
• Large roundworm
• Pinworms
• Small strongyles / cyathostomes susceptible to oxfendazole
• Mature stomach worms – Habronema microstoma
• Specified migrating stages of Strongylus vulgaris

Parasite Control – Cattle

For beef and dairy cattle, Worma Drench controls specified stages of:

• Small brown stomach worm
• Barber's pole worm
• Small intestinal worm
• Stomach hairworm
• Thin-necked intestinal worm
• Hookworm
• Nodule worm
• Lungworm
• Cattle tapeworm

Dose & Administration

Horses: 10mL per 100kg bodyweight
Cattle: 5mL per 100kg bodyweight

Administer orally according to the current registered label using accurate drenching equipment or another approved administration method.

Accurate bodyweight estimation is important to ensure correct dosing. Use scales or a weigh-band where possible.

Important Information

Worma Drench contains a benzimidazole (BZ) anthelmintic. Resistance to benzimidazole wormers can occur, particularly among equine small strongyles, so parasite-control programs should take local resistance patterns into account.

Always follow the current registered product label for complete dosage, administration, withholding periods, contraindications and safety directions, particularly when using the product in food-producing cattle.

For horses, faecal egg counts and veterinary guidance can help determine appropriate treatment and monitor wormer effectiveness.
