Iron Mountain welding flux.

Ideal for forge welding in gas, coke or coal forges.

Contains

• Disodiumtetraborate NA2B4O2
• Pure Iron Powder Fe

Directions for use

Keep dry and the cap tight when not in use.

Shake thoroughly before use

Scarf joint to be welded and brush to remove scale

Apply flux with metal at red heat

Flux should stick on surface and turn transparent

Return metal to fire and wait until fluxed surface looks wet or glossy with bubbles forming on the surface adjacent to weld

Remove from fire and hammer weld with successively heavier hammer blows
