Urinary Tract Support

Claims relating to the treatment or prevention of cystitis, urinary-tract infections or kidney infections should only be made where specifically supported by the product's registered label. Suspected urinary infections require veterinary diagnosis and may require specific medical treatment.

Fluid Balance

Diuretic preparations increase urine production and may influence the body's fluid and electrolyte balance.

Swelling or oedema of the lower limbs can have many potential causes and should not automatically be assumed to result from inadequate kidney function. Persistent or unexplained swelling should be investigated by a veterinarian.

Horses or greyhounds showing changes in urination, blood in the urine, difficulty urinating, persistent oedema, dehydration, fever or suspected urinary-tract disease should receive veterinary assessment.
