Keratex Hoof Gel helps protect hooves from softening and weakening in wet, muddy conditions by keeping the moisture content of the hoof at an optimal level.

Designed for horses kept in wet paddocks, muddy yards or damp stables, regular use of Keratex Hoof Gel helps hooves cope with the everyday stresses of weather, stabling, schooling and roadwork, so they stay strong and hold shoes well.

Supplied in a 1 L tin for brushing directly onto the hoof.

Balanced Hoof Moisture

Too much moisture softens the hoof, weakening the wall and making it harder to hold shoes and nails. Keratex Hoof Gel helps regulate moisture in the hoof, preserving the natural flexibility of the hoof wall, heel, sole and frog without leaving the hoof soft.

No Oils or Greases Needed

Keratex Hoof Gel works on its own and should not be used together with conventional hoof oils or greases. Once dry, it can be buffed with a cloth for a natural sheen.

Directions

Shake well before use. Start with a clean, dry hoof. Using a hoof brush, apply to the hoof wall starting just below the coronary band and working down. For complete protection, also apply to the sole and frog. Allow to dry before riding or turning out. Apply every 2 days, or every 4 days in dry conditions. Apply an extra coat before riding in very wet or muddy conditions. Refer to the product label for full directions.

Keratex Hoof Gel is a simple, proven way to protect hooves through the wet season.

For external use on hooves only. Always read the label before use. Flammable: keep away from heat, sparks and open flames. Use in a well-ventilated area and wear protective gloves. Avoid contact with skin and eyes, and keep away from the horse's eyes, nose and mouth. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use with other hoof oils or greases. Persistent hoof problems or lameness should be assessed by your farrier or veterinarian.
