Poultry Worming Solution

Vetsense Kilverm Poultry Wormer is a drinking-water wormer effective against sensitive strains of the most important intestinal worms in fowls, turkeys and other birds.

Designed to treat large roundworm (Ascaridia galli), caecal worm (Heterakis gallinae) and hairworm (Capillaria spp.).

Given by mixing with clean drinking water.

Directions

Dose rate for poultry: dilute 10 mL of Kilverm in 200 mL of water for each 6 kg live weight (1.75 mL of Kilverm in 35 mL of water per 1 kg live weight). Mix 40 mL per litre of water for 1 day. Repeat 2 weeks later.Administration: for maximum efficiency the medicated water must be consumed in the shortest time possible. Withhold water from birds 2 hours before nightfall, then make the required amount of medicated water available so birds start drinking it at daylight. Replace with clean water after 8 hours or when the medication is consumed.

Birds under continuous light should have water withheld for 2 hours, then be given medicated water as above.

Contraindication: do not use in extremely hot weather.
