KRP Extra Sound Steel Size 5

Steel Concave Race Shoe

The KRP Extra Sound Steel Size 5 (Kerckhaert Steel Kings Extra Sound Plus) is a premium steel race shoe combining a lightweight profile with increased strength, wear resistance and concave grip.

Combining the popular shape of the Steel Kings ES and Alu Kings ES with a thicker steel section, it is designed to fit the Thoroughbred hoof with minimal shaping and is ideal for horses requiring the traction of a concave shoe with a relatively lightweight profile.

Clips, Heels & Nail Pattern

Strong radius clips require minimal hoof wall removal, and wider, more upright front heels provide additional cover and support. The nail pattern matches the steel and aluminium Kings ES range, which may allow existing nail holes to be reused where appropriate.
