Kelato LoosenUP
Kelato LoosenUP
Antioxidant Muscle Support Supplement
Kelato LoosenUP is a high-quality antioxidant supplement blending vitamin E, vitamin C, selenium, magnesium and chromium to help reduce the risk of mild exercise-induced muscle damage, soreness and stiffness in performance horses.
Designed for horses in strenuous exercise, and during times of illness, stress and recovery from injury, it also supports a healthy immune system.
How LoosenUP Works
Free radicals are harmful by-products of oxidation, a normal metabolic process that speeds up during exercise, and can damage cells. LoosenUP's antioxidants help neutralise free radicals, protecting muscle cells and minimising subsequent stiffness and soreness.
Antioxidants – Vitamin E, Vitamin C & Selenium
- Protect cell membranes from damage caused by free radicals during exercise
- Water-soluble vitamin C works both inside and outside the cell, and helps regenerate vitamin E
- Selenium works with vitamin E to maintain its cell-protecting action by detoxifying peroxides
- Antioxidants also support the immune system by protecting immune cells from free radical damage
Magnesium
- Essential for energy production
- Vital for normal muscle and nerve function
- May help reduce nervous behaviour in some horses
- Activates many enzymes in the body
Chromium
- Helps restrict lactic acid accumulation during exercise
- Supports muscle development
- Enhances the activity of insulin and helps regulate glucose metabolism
