Magnesium Sulphate - Epsom Salts

Epsom salts is best known as a laxative and good for a range of other equine uses.  

It is a handy product to have in the first aid kit if your horse gets a bit bound up especially whilst travelling or at competitions. 

Epsom salts is also called magnesium sulfate. Magnesium plays an important part in nerve and muscle function and horses deficient in this this important element can show signs of nervousness, wariness, excitability and muscle tremors.  

Epsom salts also create a great soak for hooves.
