Head Design

An angled nailing surface provides a comfortable, efficient working position around the hoof, helping reduce unnecessary wrist and arm movement during repetitive work. The round, slightly curved head transfers force efficiently for controlled, purposeful strikes, while a fine claw on the opposite side grips and extracts nails that need to be repositioned or removed, and adds versatility during shoe removal and fitting.

The head is made from high-quality tool steel, tempered to the appropriate hardness for professional use.

Customisable Hickory Handle

Hickory is traditionally selected for striking tools for its strength, durability, shock absorption and comfortable handling. The handle is intentionally substantial, allowing the farrier to shape the grip to suit individual hand size and preference. Replacement handles are available separately.
