Mustad Equi-Librium Aluminium Fronts bring the renowned Equi-Librium design to a lightweight aluminium construction, approximately 65% lighter than the steel version.

Designed for competition and performance horses where minimising weight on the hoof is a priority, it retains the key design principles of the steel Equi-Librium.

It also gives farriers greater flexibility when additional hoof-support materials, such as sole pads or silicone, are required without unnecessarily increasing the overall weight of the hoof package.

Designed for Competition Horses

Reducing shoe weight may be particularly desirable where movement, limb loading and overall hoof-package weight are important. This makes the Equi-Librium Aluminium well suited to horses with pronounced knee action or those competing in disciplines such as hunter classes, where freedom and quality of movement are evaluated.
