AMP 5 acts as a potent natural vasodilator, significantly increasing blood circulation to skeletal and cardiac muscles. By improving blood flow, AMP 5 enhances the delivery of oxygen, nutrients, and energy to muscle tissues, while also aiding in the removal of waste products like lactic acid, which delays fatigue and muscle cramping. This makes it especially effective in preventing "tying up" during intense physical exertion. Composition:

Adenosine 5'-monophosphate 200 mg/mL

Actions: 

AMP 5 induces significant coronary vasodilatation, enhancing blood flow to both muscle and heart tissues, and helps prevent muscle cramps, fatigue, and "tying up."

Indications:

• Increases coronary vasodilatation before heavy cardiac load in athletic animals.
• Assists in treating myocardial oxygen deficit (indicated by performance-related ECG changes).
• Prevents muscle cramping and 'tying up' in horses.

Contraindications:

• Intravenous administration is prohibited.

Adverse Reactions:

• Intravenous use can cause severe blood pressure drops, potential ataxia, and collapse.

Dosage & Administration:

• Administer by intramuscular injection only.
• For horses: 2.5 mL/100 kg, given 24 hours and again 4-6 hours before strenuous exercise.
• For dogs: 0.5 mL/10 kg.
