How Cophos B Works
Phosphate plays an important role in energy metabolism, muscle function and the body's natural buffering systems.
During strenuous aerobic and anaerobic exercise, the demand for phosphate increases. Because phosphate requirements must ultimately be met through dietary or supplemental sources, adequate availability is important for horses undertaking regular intensive exercise.
Phosphate is involved in the metabolic processes responsible for storing and releasing energy to working muscles. It also contributes to normal acid-base balance and oxygen delivery and utilisation during exercise.
By providing a readily available source of phosphate, Cophos B is designed to support muscular efficiency, endurance and recovery during periods of hard work.
Vitamin B12 Support
Cophos B also provides Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12), which contributes to normal metabolic processes and supports energy metabolism and appetite.
