NV L-Carnitine Injectable is a performance supplement that supports energy supply and endurance in horses by helping transport fats into muscle cells to be used for energy.

Designed for performance horses engaged in intense exercise, sprint and endurance work, it supports the use of fatty acids as an energy source.

Supplied as a 100 mL sterile injection for intramuscular or intravenous administration.

L-Carnitine plays a crucial role in transporting fats into muscle cells, where they are converted into energy. By utilising fats for energy production, it helps conserve glycogen and delay the build-up of lactic acid, which in turn helps reduce muscle fatigue and supports sustained performance.

Directions

Inject 3 mL per 100 kg bodyweight (15 mL per 500 kg horse) by intramuscular injection twice weekly, or as directed by a veterinarian. May be given by intramuscular or intravenous injection. Use contents within 3 months of first opening and discard any unused portion.

L-Carnitine is often used in combination with other supplements such as AMP-5, Creatine, Cophos B and Tripart, and can be alternated with Mitochondrial injections as necessary.
