TRIPART Injection – Muscle Function & Recovery Support

Injectable nutritional support for muscle function, energy metabolism and post-exercise recovery in performance horses and dogs.

TRIPART is a specialised injectable formulation containing amino acids, aspartates, B-group vitamins and Selenium to support normal muscle metabolism and recovery during training and strenuous exercise.

Its combination of Potassium Aspartate, Magnesium Aspartate, Nicotinamide (Vitamin B3), L-Arginine, L-Lysine, Selenium and Vitamin B12 provides important nutritional cofactors involved in energy metabolism, muscle function, antioxidant defence and normal red blood cell production.

TRIPART is particularly suited to performance and working animals undergoing demanding exercise or training programs.

Potassium & Magnesium Aspartates

TRIPART provides both Potassium Aspartate and Magnesium Aspartate.

Potassium and Magnesium are important minerals involved in normal muscle contraction, nerve transmission and cellular function.

Aspartate is an amino acid involved in normal cellular energy and nitrogen metabolism and has been investigated in relation to exercise metabolism and fatigue.

Vitamin B3 – Nicotinamide

Nicotinamide (Vitamin B3) is an important component of coenzymes involved in normal cellular energy metabolism.

It contributes to the pathways responsible for converting nutrients, including carbohydrates and fats, into energy that can be utilised by working cells.

L-Arginine

L-Arginine is an amino acid involved in protein metabolism and the body's normal handling of nitrogen.

It also acts as a precursor in several important metabolic pathways and contributes to normal physiological function during periods of increased demand.

L-Lysine

L-Lysine is an essential amino acid, meaning it must be supplied through the diet.

Adequate Lysine is particularly important for protein synthesis, muscle tissue maintenance and normal recovery, especially in horses undergoing regular training.

Selenium – Antioxidant Support

Selenium is an essential trace mineral and forms part of important antioxidant enzyme systems within the body.

These systems help protect cells against oxidative stress and free radicals, which can increase during strenuous exercise.

Because excessive Selenium can be toxic, TRIPART should be used strictly according to the recommended dose and total dietary Selenium intake should be considered.

Vitamin B12 – Cyanocobalamin

Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin) plays an important role in normal cellular metabolism and red blood cell formation.

Red blood cells are responsible for transporting oxygen throughout the body, making normal red blood cell production particularly important for exercising animals.

Dosage & Administration

Administer by intramuscular or subcutaneous injection.

Horses:
Give 5mL per 100kg bodyweight once weekly, or as directed by a veterinary surgeon.

For example, a 500kg horse = 25mL according to the supplied dosage rate.

Dogs:
Give 0.5mL per 10kg bodyweight once weekly, or as directed by a veterinary surgeon.

After broaching:
Discard any unused portion within 6 months after broaching the vial, according to the supplied directions.

Composition

Each mL contains:

• Potassium Aspartate – 20mg/mL
• Magnesium Aspartate – 20mg/mL
• Nicotinamide (Vitamin B3) – 60mg/mL
• L-Arginine HCl – 100mg/mL
• L-Lysine HCl – 50mg/mL
• Selenium (as Sodium Selenate) – 1mg/mL
• Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) – 500μg/mL

Performance & Recovery Support

TRIPART provides a concentrated combination of amino acids, minerals and vitamins involved in normal muscle function, energy metabolism, antioxidant defence and recovery, making it a useful nutritional support product for horses undergoing demanding training and exercise.

TRIPART should not be considered a treatment or guaranteed preventative for tying-up, exertional rhabdomyolysis, muscle cramping or exercise intolerance. Horses displaying muscle pain, stiffness, reluctance to move, excessive sweating, dark urine or recurrent tying-up require veterinary assessment.

As an injectable product containing Selenium, administer strictly according to the current product label and veterinary directions. Correct sterile injection technique is essential. For competition animals, check current racing or equestrian rules regarding injectable products, ingredients and administration timing before competition.
