Zilco Nylon Running Reins are lightweight, practical training reins in black nylon with loop ends, suitable for use as running reins or draw reins.

Designed for schooling and flatwork training, they run from the girth through the bit rings to the rider's hands, giving additional rein contact that encourages the horse to work in a lower, rounder outline when used correctly alongside the main reins.

At approximately 2.3 m (7'6") long, these reins offer plenty of length for everyday training set-ups. Loop ends make them quick and easy to attach to the girth, while durable nylon keeps them light, easy to clean and tough enough for regular use.

Fit & Care

Attach the loop ends to the girth, pass the reins through the bit rings from the inside out, and hold them together with the main reins so they can be released instantly. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and allow to air-dry.
