VETSENSE OTIDERM is a wound-cleaning solution formulated for use in horses, dogs and cats. It is designed to assist in cleansing areas where dead or necrotic tissue, coagulum, embedded debris or wax is present, helping prepare the affected area for the natural healing process.

How Does VETSENSE OTIDERM Work?

OTIDERM assists with the removal of dead and devitalised tissue by creating differential swelling between healthy and damaged tissue.

Its low-pH formulation helps disrupt the structure of collagen within devitalised tissue. Organic acids within the solution also interact with the collagen structure, encouraging the damaged tissue to absorb water, swell and separate, making dead tissue and embedded debris easier to remove.

Healthy living tissue is comparatively unaffected due to its natural protective barriers and its ability to maintain a near-neutral pH.
