Kelato PulmonAID Paste is a concentrated boost of vitamins, minerals and plant extracts providing short-term, convenient pulmonary and respiratory support for racehorses.

Formulated to assist oxygen and nutrient delivery throughout the body and support the pulmonary inflammatory response, helping stamina and endurance while supporting normal respiratory function.

Supplied as an oral paste for convenient short-term use.

Amino Acids

• DMG – helps oxygen uptake in the bloodstream
• L-Carnitine – creates a reservoir of carnitine in the muscles before exercise to limit the initial use of glycogen stores, delaying glycogen depletion and lactic acid production to support endurance

Antioxidants

• Grape seed extract – contains oligomeric proanthocyanidin complexes (OPCs), naturally occurring plant metabolites with potent antioxidant activity that support healthy capillaries
• Chlorophyll – a potent antioxidant that can also assist with dissolving mucus by supporting the inflammatory response
• Bioflavonoid complex – a source of hesperidin and rutin to help support normal lung integrity and function
• Hawthorn extract – supports heart health

Vitamins

• Vitamin C – horses with equine asthma have been shown to have lower vitamin C levels in lung secretions; supplementation can support horses experiencing oxidative stress in the lungs
• Vitamin E – an essential antioxidant nutrient that helps protect cells from oxidative stress during exercise
• Vitamin A – has antioxidant capabilities and supports chlorophyll's activity
• Vitamin D3 – high blood levels of vitamin D may assist superior lung function (Wright 2005)

Natural Source of Silica

Oat straw extract provides bioavailable silica to support healthy blood vessels and capillary walls.

• PulmonAID Paste is designed to be mixed in the horse’s feed.
• Prior to competition or fast work: Give ½ tube each day for 4 days.
• On the day of competition or fast work: Give 1 full tube 4-6 hours prior to the event.
• PLEASE NOTE: If you are using PulmonAID daily, substitute PulmonAID Paste just on the day of the competition.

*Feeding recommendations are for 500kg bodyweight.
