Quality Slim Nails

European Slim Horseshoe Nails

Quality ESL3 Slim Nails are European slim (E-Slim) horseshoe nails with a longer, thinner shank than a regular E-head nail, made for higher, cleaner nailing in V-crease shoes.

Designed for farriers shoeing riding horses in V-crease steel or aluminium shoes, the slim profile makes it easier to nail higher in the hoof wall without unnecessary damage. This is especially useful on horses with thinner walls.

Slim Shank for Higher Nailing

The slimmer E-Slim shank displaces less hoof wall as it is driven, which helps the farrier achieve a secure hold higher up the wall while keeping the hoof as intact as possible through the shoeing cycle.

Built for the Farrier's Kit

Quality ESL3 Slim Nails are a dependable, economical nail for neat, secure, high nailing.

Correct nail selection and placement should be determined by a qualified farrier according to the shoe, hoof size, hoof-wall condition and individual horse. Incorrect selection or placement can cause hoof-wall damage, discomfort or lameness.
