Liquid Iron & Folic Acid Supplement

Ranvet Iron Plus is a highly palatable liquid supplement providing organic iron as ferric ammonium citrate together with concentrated folic acid to support red blood cell and haemoglobin production.

Designed for performance horses with increased demands and broodmares requiring additional iron and folic acid.

Supplied as a liquid in 5 L and 20 L sizes that can be given by mouth or added to the daily feed.

Blood & Haemoglobin Support

Iron is an essential component of haemoglobin, the protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen. Adequate iron and folic acid support normal red blood cell formation, haemoglobin production, oxygen transport and blood health during training and performance.

Broodmare Support

Iron Plus may be included in a broodmare feeding program to support the demands of pregnancy and lactation, also contributing to the nutrition available to the developing and nursing foal.

Targeted Iron Supplementation

Iron Plus does not contain cobalt, copper or zinc, allowing these to be supplied separately through the existing diet or supplements such as Ranvet Aminovite Plus where appropriate.

Ranvet Iron Plus provides bioavailable iron and folic acid to support healthy blood formation in performance horses and broodmares.

Iron supplementation should be considered as part of the complete diet, as excessive iron intake can be undesirable. Horses with suspected anaemia, persistent fatigue or poor performance should be assessed by a veterinarian.
