Redlands Premium Hoof Dressing is specially formulated from high-quality constituents to protect your horse's hooves from excessive moisture loss.

Particularly beneficial for horses with brittle, thin-walled or shelly feet, and for racehorses and show horses where frequent shoeing and rasping take their toll on the hoof.

Supplied in a 2.5 L container.

Why Hooves Need Protection

Abnormal drying of the hoof, with resultant cracking, can lead to serious foot problems and lameness. Frequent shoeing is often unavoidable – nail holes release moisture and weaken the hoof wall, and rasping partly destroys the periople, nature's varnish over the hoof wall, allowing moisture loss.

• Protects hooves from excessive moisture loss
• Contains compounds that stimulate hoof growth when massaged around the coronet band
• Contains an antiseptic agent that assists in preventing minor skin infections in the coronet band area
• Imparts a clean, polished look desirable in show and performance horses

Active Constituents

Lanolin BP, petroleum jelly, linseed oil, paraffin wax, neatsfoot oil, tall oil pitch, gum turpentine.

Directions

Apply daily for optimum benefit, particularly in hot and drying conditions.

Ensure the whole foot, including the sole, is dry, thoroughly clean and free from foreign matter. Apply with a brush over the whole foot, including the sole. It may be gently massaged with the fingers around the coronet band to encourage new horn growth.

Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C. Protect from direct heat.
