Save Edge Dark Horse Rasp

14" Professional Farrier Rasp

The Save Edge 14" Dark Horse Rasp is a lightweight, versatile farrier rasp combining characteristics of the Save Edge Original and Beast, with an increased tooth count and a smooth finishing side.

Designed for everyday professional farrier work, it offers a versatile balance of cutting performance, control and finishing ability.

Hybrid Design

The Dark Horse bridges the gap between the Original and Beast, for applications where effective material removal and controlled finishing are both wanted.

Lighter & Thinner

A lighter, thinner construction makes the rasp comfortable to handle and manoeuvre around the hoof, giving greater control during detailed preparation and longer working sessions.

Increased Tooth Count

More teeth provide a refined cutting surface for controlled removal of hoof material, without an unnecessarily aggressive feel.

Smooth Finishing Side

The smooth side leaves the hoof with a clean, professional finish, so you can move from material removal to finishing with one rasp.
