Sulphur Powder

Sulphur Mineral Supplement & Topical Powder

Sulphur Powder is a traditional, versatile product used with horses as both a dietary mineral supplement and for external applications.

Designed for equine mineral supplementation where additional dietary sulphur is required, and for traditional topical and insect-management uses.

Supplied as a 1 kg bag of naturally bright yellow powder.

Sulphur as a Dietary Mineral

Sulphur is an essential mineral that forms part of important sulphur-containing amino acids and other compounds within the body. It is naturally obtained through the diet, so supplementation should be considered in the context of the horse's complete nutritional intake rather than given unnecessarily.

Topical Use

Sulphur has traditionally been incorporated into a variety of external horse-care preparations and skin and coat care routines.

Insect Management

Sulphur powder has traditionally been used as part of insect-repellent and pest-management practices around horses. Effectiveness can vary, so it should not replace a registered insect-control product where reliable fly, midge, mosquito or parasite control is required.

Traditional Stable Staple

Sulphur Powder is a versatile, time-honoured addition to the horse-care kit for mineral supplementation and external use.

When applying externally, avoid the eyes, nose, mouth, broken skin and other sensitive areas unless the label directs otherwise. Always read the label and consult your veterinarian or the manufacturer if your horse is unwell, pregnant or on other treatment. Keep out of reach of children.
