Kelato SwellDOWN

Cooling Clay Poultice

Kelato SwellDOWN is a montmorillonite clay poultice that quickly draws heat out of inflammation, helping reduce swelling and overall leg soreness.

Designed for legs after training, trialling, racing, events and travel, and for injuries caused by hard knocks or jarring. It is an excellent tightener around knees, ankles and tendons.

Can be used on broken skin and is easy to wash off.

How SwellDOWN Works

The combination of wet clay, essential oils and minerals has a cooling effect on the skin. Heat produced by exercise or injury is drawn out rapidly, helping limit tissue damage, reduce the risk of fluid retention (oedema) and aid recovery.

• Magnesium sulphate – delivers a cooling, drawing action
• Potassium aluminium sulphate – helps tighten the leg, keeping swelling and inflammation to a minimum
• Calcium carbonate – adjusts the poultice to the correct pH
• Oils of peppermint and eucalyptus – create a cooling sensation to keep the horse comfortable
• Glycerine – a humectant that softens and moisturises the skin and reduces itchiness
• Wet montmorillonite clay – binds the actives together and keeps them moist for longer
