Topical Hoof Toughener

Hawthorne Venice Turpentine is used on the sole of the hoof to toughen or harden the hoof in sore or tender-footed horses.

Designed for tender-footed or sore horses, it can be painted daily on the sole of the hoof and topped with brown paper until the desired results are achieved.

Antiseptic Qualities

Venice Turpentine has also been used for its antiseptic qualities, and in such cases can be applied to rundown and other types of injuries.

Directions
