Aluminium Wedge Racing Plate

The Victory EC Queens 2° Wedge Race Plate is a European-inspired racing plate featuring an integrated 2° wedged heel and flush steel insert, designed for turf racing and applications where grabs are not permitted.

Available in sizes 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7, in both Front and Hind patterns.

Designed for turf racing and racing situations where grabs are not permitted, it combines the established EC Queens racing pattern with a built-in 2° heel wedge, giving professional farriers a specialised option for the racehorse.

The steel insert sits at the same height as the rim, increasing wear resistance without creating the additional traction of a protruding grab.

2° Wedged Heel

A 2° heel wedge is built directly into the shoe, providing heel elevation without requiring a separate wedge pad.

The appropriate degree of elevation should be selected by the farrier according to the individual horse, hoof conformation and shoeing requirements.

Flush Steel Insert, Solid Heel & Wider Web

Rather than acting as a protruding traction device, the flush steel insert is designed to:

• Increase wear resistance
• Improve durability in a high-wear area
• Remain flush with the rim
• Avoid the additional traction associated with a grab
