The Victory EC Queens 3° Wedge Hind Race Plate combines the established EC Queens racing pattern with an integrated 3° heel wedge, providing professional farriers with a specialised hind shoeing option for the racehorse.

Designed for use on turf and in racing situations where grabs are not permitted, the shoe incorporates a steel insert that sits at the same height as the rim. This increases wear resistance without creating additional protruding traction.

3° Wedged Heel

The hind pattern incorporates a 3° heel wedge directly into the shoe, providing heel elevation without requiring a separate wedge pad.

Final shoe selection and the amount of elevation required should be determined by the farrier according to the individual horse and hoof conformation.

Flush Steel Insert

A key feature of this model is the steel insert positioned at the same height as the rim.

Rather than acting as a protruding traction device, the insert is designed to:
