Hawthorne Wind Aid offers temporary relief of equine bronchial congestion, minor throat irritation, wind problems and allergies.

Designed for horses affected by coughs, allergies and minor breathing problems, whether caused by weather changes, seasonal allergies, infections or dry confined areas.

Available in a 946 mL (32 oz) bottle. Note: the Wind Aid single-dose syringe is concentrated and one 1 oz tube is a full dose; from the 32 oz bottle, 2 oz must be given for a full dose.

How Wind Aid Works

Wind Aid is a blend of natural aromatic oils and potassium iodide to aid in reducing mucus, which is a problem in all respiratory-tract irritations, infectious or not.

Its glycerine base soothes and coats the irritated surfaces of the throat and aids in reducing inflammation. Wind Aid works as an expectorant, allowing for more open air passages and free breathing – and more air with less laboured breathing results in more comfort and better performance.

Directions

For optimum results: give 2 oz (or one single-dose syringe) orally once a day, two to three days prior to exercise or race.

Minor wind problems: give 2 oz (or one single-dose syringe) orally at least two hours prior to exercise or race.

Bronchial congestion: give 2 oz (or one single-dose syringe) orally one to three times a day until symptoms subside. If the condition continues or worsens, discontinue use and consult a veterinarian.
